A. Lobsters under 3 lbs are best handled by the Incredible Cracker. As lobsters grow, they molt or change their shells. Lobster shells are thin right after molting and are thick right before molting. While it may be possible to crack a lobster with ease, if it recently changed its shell, it may be very hard to crack a lobster right before changing its shell.
